Howland Running Back Tyriq Ellis was named Player of the Game for his play in the Tigers 56-32 win over Niles

HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Howland Running Back Tyriq Ellis was named Player of the Game for his play in the Tigers 56-32  win over Niles in the High School Football Game of the Week on FOX Youngstown in week eight of the regular season.

The award is sponsored by Knight Line Embroidery and Screen Printing.

Ellis scored a total of five touchdowns on the night.  He rushed for four touchdowns in the win, and also found the endzone on a shovel pass.  Ellis racked up 132 rushing yards on the night in the victory.
