GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – The Trojans’ Ethan Reiser scored his first, second and third offensive touchdowns of the season in their 27-0 win over Reynolds. Greenville’s leading pass catcher had accumulated 358 yards of offense (receiving/rushing) through seven games; however, tonight he had 174.
Despite being hobbled by injuries, Greenville’s junior quarterback Nate Bell completed 10 of 14 passes for 162 yards and two scores (to Reiser). The Trojans’ standout rusher Canyon Eells – who is also a junior – scored his 8th rushing touchdown midway through the fourth quarter. After tonight’s 108 yard effort, he has now rushed for over 100-yards four times this season.
In the first half, Reynolds had outgained Greenville 151-102. In the game’s final twenty-four minutes, the Trojans’ defense held the Raiders to just 25 yards of offense to snap their two-game slide.
Reynolds’ Damion Gearhart rushed for over 100 yards (106) for the fourth time this year and for the second week in a row.
