WARREN, Ohio – David A. Emerine, Sr., 74, went to be with his Savior in his sleep at home, Friday morning, October 14, 2016.
David was born in Warren, Ohio, on August 2, 1942, a son of the late Joseph Emerine and Fanny (Ashland) Emerine.
He was a 1960 graduate of Champion High School and was an Auto Mechanic in the Champion area for 40 years until he retired.
He was a member of the Lordstown Christian Church and well known for his philanthropic community service.
In his early years, he participated in racing cars.
He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan but most of all, he was huge on family. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and loved to travel with his wife; especially to Hawaii and Georgia.
David will be deeply missed by his wife, Nancy (Cook) Emerine, whom he married on November 21, 2015; his children, Amy (Jeff) Elston of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Kim Comanescu, of Warren, Ohio, David (Tina) Gallison of Cortland, Ohio, Tricia (Roy) Hites of Mecca, Ohio and Debera Gallison of Newton Falls, Ohio and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sons, David Emerine, Jr. and Todd Emerine.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel located at 180 Garfield Dr. SE Warren, Ohio 44483.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at 12:00 Noon at Lordstown Christian Church located at 6370 Todd Ave. SW Warren, Ohio 44481.
