Panormitis worked as an industrial painting contractor.

He was a member of the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.

Everyone adored Panormitis. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who adored him. He would always play Legos or build trains with them. Friends and family describe him as one of the kindest men. Not only was he kind but he was humble and never said no to anyone who needed him. His sons referred to him as a genius because he knew how to fix anything. The whole family knew if they needed something fixed, they could call him and he would always be there. He will be remembered for his positive attitude and always having a smile on his face.

Panormitis leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, the former Ipatia Volikas, whom he married October 9, 1966; his children, Nikitas (Dorothy) Kolidakis of Boardman and Pantelis (Kimberly) Kolidakis, of Campbell; his sisters, Evagelia Georgiadis and Eleni Kerpelis, both of Campbell and Kaliopi Delegiannaki of Athens, Greece; his brothers, Apostolos Kolidakis of Campbell and George Kolidakis of Poland; his grandchildren, Ashlynn Kolidakis, Ipatia N. Kolidakis, Panormitis P. Kolidakis and Pantelis P. Kolidakis and his great-grandson, Nikitas Firiono.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Pavlos Kolidakis, Petros Kolidakis, Gabriel Kolidakis and Eleftherios Kolidakis.

The Kolidakis family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Wednesday, October 19, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St. John Russian Orthodox Church on Struthers-Liberty Road, due to the current renovation project at the Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.
