EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio (WKBN) – The search for Bigfoot is alive and well in East Liverpool.
The second annual Bigfoot Day took place in Beaver Creek State Park Sunday.
Vendors set up for the hundreds of people who visited the park. The day began with a pancake breakfast to fuel people for their search for the mythical monster.
But cryptozoologists say they have more than enough proof to show that this creature is more than just a myth.
“All my fellow researchers that are here today, we do believe that there is something — if not living in the park — that goes through the park,” Brian Seech, director at Center for Cryptozoological Studies, said. “Eyewitness sightings to strange screams and footprints have been found in the area. Columbiana County, historically, has had a lot of Bigfoot sightings”.
Any money raised went go to the Friends of Beaver Creek State Park — a volunteer organization that isn’t funded by the state park, but keeps the park’s historic buildings up to date.
