HUBBARD, Ohio – There will be services held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday October 19, 2016 at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home for Carl B. Miller age 58, of Hubbard who passed away Sunday October 16, 2016 at Sharon Regional Health System from complications following surgery.
Carl was born April 30, 1958 in Mercer, Pennsylvania, a son of Carl E. and Eleanor Seidel Miller.
He was a 1976 graduate of Hubbard High School.
Carl was a maintenance die setter for 33 years at Ball Corporation and currently was president of Local 4427 USW.
He loved playing his musical instruments including, the guitar, the mandolin, steel guitar and the accordion, just to name a few. He enjoyed playing with his friends and family at any family event, especially with his son John and grandson Josh. He also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns with his close circle of friends and family every Sunday, regardless of whether they won or lost.
He will be sadly missed by his family; his wife and high school sweetheart the former Audrey Kantorik whom he married November 10, 1979; his children, John (Jessica Banks) Miller and Jen (Tony) Babich both of Hubbard; his grandchildren, Josh Miller, Jolene Miller and Eric Babich.
Most of all he will be deeply missed by his three grandchildren, Josh, Jolene and Eric, they loved seeing their “Pappy” and going for rides in the scooter chair, playing games, singing, watching movies, anything they asked of him. They will never forget all the wonderful memories they’re had with their beloved “Pappy”.
He also leaves his siblings, Sue (Roger) Vigus of Lakeland, Florida, Chuck Miller of Meadville, Pennsylvania and Mary Jo (Ray) Paris of Struthers, Ohio and his aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
There will be calling hours on Wednesday October 19, 2016 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
