COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) – Ohio State Representative Sean O’Brien announced Friday that new jobs will be coming to Trumbull County with the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Mineral Ridge.

It will create ten new jobs expected to pay $15 an hour, with benefits.

“The Mahoning Valley workers have proven time and again that they are among the most industrious in the nation, and that reputation has helped secure new local jobs for Trumbull County,” O’Brien said.

Jackson International, Inc. received a state loan to purchase the property, machinery and equipment. According to the company’s website, it manufactures telescoping uncoupling devices and uncoupling levers for the railroad industry.

Jackson International will move operations from Michigan to Trumbull County over the next two years.
