Covelli Centre, Youngstown, Ohio

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Covelli Enterprises has maintained naming rights of the Covelli Centre.

A five-year agreement was signed to maintain the arena’s name through April 2021, according to JAC Management Group. With the continued partnership, Covelli Enterprises has given Youngstown’s downtown entertainment facility its longest withstanding naming rights’ sponsorship since its opening in 2005.

“When our company agreed to put our name on the Centre in 2009, we did it because of our commitment to the community and our belief in Eric Ryan and his team to turn the Centre around,” said CEO Sam Covelli. “In the past seven years, with the overwhelming support of this community, what has happened at the Centre has exceeded my expectations.”

The five year-extension includes a $200,000 commitment per year from Covelli Enterprises from May 2016-April 2019 and an increased annual commitment of $225,000 from May 2019 to April 2021.
