WARREN, Ohio – Richard D. Prisby passed away, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles.
Dick was born June 17, 1933 in Ravenna a son of the late Wiley and Alice Fullum Prisby.
A veteran of the United States Army, Dick retired from Packard Electric (Delphi).
He loved sports, especially the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavs. He took dance lessons along with his wife and coached youth league softball.
On June 16, 1962, Dick was united into marriage with his wife, the former Thelma Williams and together they shared 48 loving years until her passing on January 16, 2011.
Dick will be sadly missed by his children, Ross (Christine) Prisby of Kent, Todd Prisby of Youngstown, Tracy Prisby-Thomas of Warren, Tammy Prisby of Brookfield and Dr. Rhonda Prisby of Ft. Worth, Texas; six grandchildren, Justin, Drae, Chaz, Kayla, Celeste and Halle and seven great-grandchildren.
Dick is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one sister, Geraldine Prisby and four brothers, Eugene, Jack, Pete, and Joe.
Friends may call from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery in Warren Township.
