The Columbiana Clippers keep playoff hopes alive with a win over Wellsville

The Columbiana Clippers defeated the Wellsville Tigers 25-18 Friday night in ITCL play.

COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) – The Columbiana Clippers defeated the Wellsville Tigers 25-18 Friday night in ITCL play.

Trailing 13-6, a Justin Miller touchdown pass brought the Tigers to within a point before halftime, 13-12.

Mitch Davidson opened the second half with a touchdown pass to put the Clippers back into a comfortable lead that would hold for the remainder of the game.

Wellsville (4-5) will visit Southern in week ten. Columbiana (6-3) will travel to Leetonia.
