WARREN, OH (WKBN)-Villa-Angela Saint Joeseph handed Warren JFK their first loss of the season on Saturday night in a low-scoring affair topping the Eagles 14-0.

It was a defensive battle early with the lone points in the first half coming from kicker Justin Bofenkamp who nailed a 25-yard field goal to get JFK on the board.

The next score wouldn’t come until the fourth quarter when Aubrey Shabazz found Daniel McGarry from 25-yards out to give the Vikings the lead 7-3.

Late in the 4th quarter the Eagles would retake the lead when Dan McCartney broke a 25-yard touchdown run to put JFK in front 10-7.

But the Vikings would get the last laugh when Shabazz and McGarry hooked up for the game-winning touchdown from 70-yards out to give VASJ the win.

Warren JFK will host St. Thomas Aquinas next Saturday.
