TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) – Vice President Joe Biden says Donald Trump has “dumbed down” the presidential campaign so much that important issues like education and health care are being forgotten.

Biden made two stops in Ohio on Monday to campaign for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

He told supporters in Toledo that the campaign is more like a TV sitcom this year because so much attention is being paid toward accusations that Trump groped and sexually assaulted women.

Trump has called the allegations lies and threatened to sue all of the women who have come forward. The Republican presidential candidate has blamed Democrats for orchestrating the accusations.

Biden says Trump has repeatedly disqualified himself for the presidency and has demonstrated he doesn’t know enough to be in the office.
