WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The former president of the Warren Secretarial Association was sentenced Monday for stealing thousands of dollars from the union.

Susan Manusakis was sentenced to 30 days in the Trumbull County Jail, followed by five years of probation upon her release. She was also ordered to pay restitution of $24,749.

Manusakis pleaded guilty to felony charges of grand theft and forgery in August, admitting she stole thousands from the Secretarial Association from March 2012 through January 2015. Prosecutors said Manusakis signed multiple checks during that time and deposited them into her account.
