YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown police have identified a woman found dead in an alleyway near a north side church, but admit they have very little to go on in the case.

The woman, 28-year-old Special Siera Strickland, was found with gunshot wounds outside of Centenary United Methodist Church on Belmont Avenue. Her body was found by a church custodian at 9 a.m. Friday.

Strickland lived on Lansdowne Boulevard on Youngstown’s east side.

Police are asking for information on the woman’s death. They do not know a motive behind the murder or have any suspects.
