DAYTON, Ohio (AP) – A coroner says a man killed in a late-night shooting in southwest Ohio that left three others injured died from a chest wound.

The Montgomery County coroner on Wednesday identified the Dayton man who died as 27-year-old Brandon Lanier. He was found dead at the scene of the shooting Tuesday night in Dayton.

The other three were taken to a hospital. Authorities say one was in critical condition Wednesday. The other two were less seriously injured.

Police say it appears dozens of rounds were fired, but they didn’t have information on whether gunfire was exchanged or whether any suspects were being sought.
