Semi and Austintown Bounce truck crash on Route 14 in Goshen Township.


GOSHEN TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – A head-on crash at the intersection of Routes 14 and 165 in Goshen Townsip shut down traffic in that area Wednesday night.

A tractor-trailer and an Austintown Bounce box truck collided on Route 14 just before 8:30 p.m.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said that 18-year-old Anthony Beshara, of Canfield, was driving the box truck and went through a stop sign, colliding with the tractor-trailer, driven by 31-year-old Kevin Hosea, of Wheaton, Illinois.

Both vehicles went off the road and hit a guardrail.

Beshara and Hosea were taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown with non-life threatening injuries.

A juvenile passenger in the Austintown Bounce truck was flown to UPMC in Pittsburgh with injuries.

The intersection was shut down for about seven hours as crews worked to clear the area.

The crash is still under investigation.
