NILES, Ohio – Thomas Pellizzeri, 88, of Niles, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Liberty Health Care Center.
Tom was born March 10, 1928 in Girard, Ohio, the son of the late Frank and Petrina (Maricola) Pellizzeri.
He was a 1947 graduate of Girard High School.
Tom worked in Chicago, Illinois for many years and then General Motors in Lordstown, retiring in 1993.
He enjoyed camping with his nephews, inventing things and working on experiments and had belonged to the Inventors Society.
Tom is survived by his sister, Mary (Richard) Price; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, whom he loved.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph (Ingrid) Pellizzeri and Guy (Jane) Pellizzeri; sisters, Santa, and Rose (Paul) Glass.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 29, 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward’s Church in Youngstown.
The family will receive relatives and friend on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, at the church.
Tom will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.
