YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Three people have been charged with the murder of a Youngstown man, who was found in the basement of his fruit cellar in August.

A Mahoning County grand jury indicted Felicia Ward, Wallace Lewis and Calvin Sidney Shelton on murder, felonious assault and tampering with evidence charges.

Police say the three are responsible for the stabbing death of 53-year-old Howard Ramey. He was found after his daughter called police to report that she hadn’t heard from Ramey for a few days, which was unusual.

Police said the rear entrance and patio doors of the home were unlocked. They have not released a motive in the killing.
