YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police are investigating the circumstances that led to a teenager showing up at St. Elizabeth Health Center with a gunshot wound on Thursday night.

Police said 19-year-old Rayquan Willis arrived at the hospital with his uncle, who told police that he wasn’t with Willis when he had been shot.

Willis told police that he was standing outside of his Sherwood Avenue home when he said a black car pulled up and fired shots at him. He was struck in the leg by a bullet and drove to pick up his uncle before driving to the hospital, according to a police report.

Willis was unable to describe the shooter or the car in any detail.
