HANOVERTON, Ohio (WKBN) – Springfield topped United 38-6 to give the Tigers their first outright league championship since 2000 (ICL). Springfield has now won 7 consecutive games defeating the likes of Western Reserve, South Range, Columbiana, East Palestine and Crestview all during this current stretch.
The Tigers (8-2) have already clinched a home playoff game next week. Springfield outgained United on the ground with 237 yards compared to just 37 by the Eagles.
