11 Valley teams bound for OHSAA playoffs

The official match-ups were released Sunday, with 6 local teams set to host playoff games in Week 11

High School Football Playoffs

Youngstown, OH (WKBN) –  The 2016 high school football regular season is in the books, and local teams are gearing up for the playoffs. According to the OHSAA, 11 area teams are moving on to Week 11.

The official results were released by the OHSAA Sunday. The top 4 teams in each Region will host games next weekend, meaning Warren Harding, Cardinal Mooney, Springfield, South Range, LaBrae, and Warren JFK will all play at home in Week 11.

FRIDAY at 7:30 PM
Division 2:
#6 – Brecksville-Broadview Heights (8-2) vs. #3 – Warren Harding (9-1)

Division 4:
#6 – Hubbard (8-2) vs. #3 – Cardinal Mooney (7-2)
#5 – Struthers (9-1)
vs. #4 – Woodridge (10-0)

Division 6:
#7 – Columbia (8-2) vs. #2 – Springfield (8-2)
#5 – Lisbon (9-1)
vs. #4 – St. Thomas Aquinas (8-2)

SATURDAY at 7:00 PM
Division 3:
#7 – Howland (7-3) vs. #2 – Archbishop Hoban (9-1)

Division 5:
#8 – Garfield (7-3) vs. #1 – South Range (9-1)
#5 – Wickliffe (8-2) vs. #4 – LaBrae (7-3)

Division 7:
#7 – Jackson-Milton (7-3) vs. #2 – Mogadore (8-2)
#6 – Toronto (8-2) vs. #3 – Warren JFK (9-1)

Saturday, Nov. 5 – Divisions III, V and VII Regional Quarterfinals

Friday, Nov. 11 – Divisions I, II, IV and VI Regional Semifinals

Saturday, Nov. 12 – Divisions III, V and VII Regional Semifinals

Friday, Nov. 18 – Divisions I, II, IV and VI Regional Finals

Saturday, Nov. 19 – Divisions III, V and VII Regional Finals

Friday, Nov. 25 – Divisions I, II, IV and VI State Semifinals

Saturday, Nov. 26 – Divisions III, V and VII State Semifinals

Thursday, Dec. 1 – State Championships Begin at Ohio Stadium (One Game Only – Div. I, II, IV or VI)

Friday, Dec. 2 – State Championships Continue at Ohio Stadium (Three Games – Div. I, II, IV or VI)

Saturday, Dec. 3 – State Championships Continue at Ohio Stadium (Three Games – Div. III, V and VII)
