Youngstown City Council is being asked to approve spending $50,000 for wastewater improvements

The Gasser Chair Company wants to spend $920,000 and create 25 new jobs by expanding its warehouse.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown company, and a leader in the manufacturing of casino and restaurant chairs, is looking to expand and needs the help of city council.

The Gasser Chair Company wants to spend $920,000 and create 25 new jobs by expanding its warehouse on Logan Avenue.

Youngstown City Council is being asked to approve spending $50,000 for wastewater improvements and to provide a quarter percent 18-month float loan.

The council’s next meeting is Wednesday, at which time it will consider the request.
