BROOKFIELD, Ohio – Ralph T. Gifford passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Liberty Health Care Center under Southern Care Hospice’s care.
Ralph was born July 6, 1942 in Warren, a son of the late Alvia and Grace (Huffman) Gifford.
A veteran of the United States Army, Ralph retired from Commercial Shearing in Youngstown.
Ralph loved going to garage sales, collecting western motif and enjoyed gardening.
He was an animal lover and had many dogs throughout his life.
Ralph will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Carrie Clendenning, whom he married March 25, 1967; two aunts, Laura Sandor and Helen Carlton; sisters-in-law, Judy (Jennings) Huey, Dianne (Clendenning) Lucero and Peggy (Clendenning) Martin; one niece, Rhonda (Nicholas) Baldwin-Amorganos; two nephews, Roger (Suzann) Baldwin and Russell (Lana) Baldwin; many great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lucile Gifford and one nephew, Steven Clendenning.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 3 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio, with Pastor Matt Darrin officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services Thursday at the funeral home.
