Why should you be elected
I represent a fresh voice, a new perspective, and an independent mind to Trumbull County leadership.

With my experience in banking, workforce development, and community leadership, I will represent all residents of Trumbull County with professionalism and fairness.

Top three priorities
1) Remove the political games from public service by serving independent of political party pressures and special interests.
2) Work alongside HR Director and Department Heads to establish a fair and modern hiring system for county jobs utilizing the OhioMeansJobs.com website, social media and OhioMeansJobs office and staff that taxpayers pay for and removing as much influence from the commissioners as possible.
3) Develop new and innovative ways to market county land, resources, and workforce to companies dealing in 21st Century industries as well as enhanced business development services for local entrepreneurs to create new, good-paying job opportunities for the thousands of workers who have been laid off from traditional industries as well as the next generation of workers, stopping the flood of young talent out of Trumbull County.

I am 34 years old, a lifelong resident of Trumbull County, a husband to my wife of 11 years, and father to our 3 beautiful children, (8, 6, and 2).

I have 6 years experience in consumer and business banking and lending, 10 years experience working for the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services in workforce development, and over 15 years of ministry and community service including my current role as pastor of the historic Second Baptist Church “A House of Hope”.

I have developed and presented employment workshops for youth and young adults though ODJFS and local high schools and colleges and specialize in next-generation marketing and social media outreach, having spearheaded the creation of the Ohiomeansjobs Trumbull County – Trumbull County JFS page.

I am a member of the Warren Civil Service Commission, member of the board of the Mahoning Valley Hope Center, Core Pastors’ Board of Teen Straight Talk, member of the City of Warren/Mayor Doug Franklin’s Bridging the Gap Community and Police Relations Initiative, Director of the Warren City Wide Youth Choir urban music and arts program, and a participant with Senator Sherrod Brown’s Mahoning Valley Chapter of President Obama’s My Brother’s Keepers program.
