Game Notes:
After missing the playoffs just once (2011) in the previous nine seasons (2006-2014), Hubbard was left out of the post-season last year. The Eagles are back in week eleven once again this year as they’ve grinded out close to 3,000-yards on the ground this season (2969). Hubbard has had four different occasions this year where they’ve topped the 350-rushing yard mark including their week 7 win over Jefferson which saw the Eagles run for 513 yards as a team.

Sophomore Ralph Morales has rushed for 1417 yards and 17 touchdowns while Tyrek Moorer (a junior) has gained 827 yards on the ground as well (9 TDs). On defense, Lukas Mosora has accumulated 129 tackles (79 solo) as David Hernandez has taken down the opposing quarterback 12 1/2 times.

Mooney is back in the playoffs after a one-year hiatus. The Cardinals have now advanced to week eleven 12 of the last 14 years.

In week ten, the Cardinals’ defense held Fitch scoreless and to 247 total yards of offense. Chris Gruber’s 30 yard touchdown run in the second quarter was the difference as Mooney finished the regular season with a 7-2 record.
