Voters take advantage of early voting in Mahoning Valley

A total of 6,400 voters have participated in early voting in Mahoning County so far

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – More than a thousand people took advantage of early voting this past weekend in the tri-county area.

In Mahoning County, 441 people voted on Saturday while 327 people cast their ballots Sunday. A total of 6,400 voters have participated in early voting in Mahoning County so far.

In Trumbull County, 321 votes were cast on Saturday while 178 voted on Sunday. So far, 6,444 early votes have been counted in Trumbull County.

And in Columbiana County, 81 people voted on Saturday, and 50 ballots were cast. In total, 1,358 people cast early votes in the county.

Early voting hours are 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. through Friday, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. On Monday, Nov. 7, hours will be 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
