Police investigating attempted robbery of Little Caesars in Warren

An employee told police that the robber ran off when another employee came in and pressed the panic alarm

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police are investigating an attempted robbery at Little Caesars Pizza on Youngstown Road.

Police were called to the restaurant around 8 p.m. Friday after an employee reported that a man with a gun demanded money from the cash register. The employee told police that the man ran when another employee came in and pressed the panic alarm.

The robber was wearing a green hooded coat with a black cloth over his face, according to a police report. He ran away toward the east side of the business.

Police are reviewing surveillance video of the incident.
