YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Charles E. Veneable, 59, of Youngstown, departed this life Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at his residence.
He was born October 30, 1957 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Theodore and Jewell Hayes Veneable, Sr.
Mr. Veneable was employed with the Ohio State Penitentiary for 12 years as an Administrator. He formerly worked for the Mahoning County Health Department and Woodside Receiving Hospital.
He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling, shopping, going out to eat and taking care of his parents.
He graduated in 1975 from Chaney High School and 1979 from Youngstown State University, majoring in Pre-Med.
He leaves to mourn, one niece, Ms. Khalilah V. (Corwyn) Collins of New Orleans, Louisiana; one nephew, Cassian Veneable of Livermore, California; one great-niece, Ms. Cortney Collins of New Orleans, Louisiana; one great-nephew, Khalil Veneable-Collins of New Orleans, Louisiana; one aunt, Ms. Thelma Palmer of Niles and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Theodore Veneable, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 7, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Youngstown Funeral Chapel.
Calling Hours will be held one hour prior to service (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon).
Burial will take place at Belmont Park Cemetery.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Youngstown Funeral Home.
