Eric Trump rallies in Boardman, says father feels confident in Ohio

At Wednesday's rally, Eric Trump stressed his father's education plan and proposal for veterans

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s son, Eric, stopped by the Mahoning County Republican Headquarters Wednesday for a rally.

Eric Trump is a businessman, boardroom advisor on “The Celebrity Apprentice” and founder of the Eric Trump Foundation to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

At Wednesday’s rally, he stressed Trump’s education plan and proposal for veterans. He also told supporters that the country’s military is not advanced enough with the latest equipment and technology.

Eric says his father is feeling confident in Ohio.

“The reception I’ve gotten from all over the state has been absolutely incredible and people want their country back. People want America back and our politicians in Washington, D.C. aren’t doing it. We’ve got too many problems and my father would do a great job for this nation.”

He chatted with supporters one-on-one before heading to Portage County for another rally.

The visit comes less than a week before Election Day on November 8.
