BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – The last in a series of seminars involving the local criminal justice system will feature a pair of very familiar names.

The program on “Forgiveness Therapy” will include presentations by Youngstown Bishop George Murry and Youngstown State University President Jim Tressel.

Organizers say the event will focus on helping both victims of crime and those who break the law, saying both sides can learn from forgiving others.

“There are things that happen to people that they simply cannot forgive, and the quest that we are exploring in this seminar is for each person — what is the point where you can understand and you can forgive, and what is the point where you decide that you cannot do that?” said Mahoning County Juvenile Court Magistrate Anthony D’Apolito.

D’Apolito says the event will be Thursday, November 10 at Drake’s Landing in Beaver Township.
