Police: Warren Eat’n Park employee robbed while making night deposit

Officers said the suspect attacked her in the parking lot of Cortland Banks on Elm Road

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police in Warren said an Eat’n Park employee was robbed Tuesday while making the Walmart Drive restaurant’s night deposit.

The victim told police she got off work around 11 p.m. and went to the Cortland Banks on Elm Road.

As she was walking up to the night deposit station by the bank’s front door, a man attacked her from the side and knocked her down, according to a police report.

The woman said she tried to get up but he hit her, knocking her down again.

Police said he took off with the money bag containing nearly $1,000.

The suspect is described as a tall, skinny, white man about 20 to 30 years old, who was wearing a blue bandanna over his face at the time.

The victim was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital for her injuries.

Officers searched the area with a K9, but couldn’t find the suspect.
