WARREN, Ohio – Mary Ann Albrecht passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the Windsor House in Champion.
Mary Ann was born November 13, 1918, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia Sinko Kapena.
She retired from Warren General Hospital as a cafeteria worker and was a member of the former St. James Catholic Church, now St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
Mary Ann will be sadly missed by her daughter, Renee Stevens of W. Farmington; her sons, Steven Albrecht of Easley, South Carolina, Thomas Albrecht of Cortland, David Albrecht of Cortland and Richard Albrecht of Lordstown; eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stephen Albrecht, whom she married June 24, 1939 and passed away in 1960; one brother; two sisters; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio, with Reverend Craig McHenry officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Niles.
