NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – The U.S. Marshals have arrested a suspect, wanted in connection to a shooting in New Castle last year.
New Castle City Police posted on its Facebook page that Jujuan “Mook” Jackson had been taken into custody. Jackson is charged with shooting a woman in the chest and was also wanted for questioning in the July 7 shooting on Meyer Avenue, which resulted in the death of a man and gunshot wound to a female. In that shooting, police believe Jackson was targeting the woman, who was his ex-girlfriend.
New Castle Police say they have been working with the U.S. Marshals, Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office and the Lawrence County Special Investigative Unit to find Jackson, who was arrested in Detroit, Michigan. He was listed among New Castle’s most-wanted fugitives.
