Game Notes: This will be a rematch of last year’s Regional Championship played at Twinsburg High School.

After last week’s 38-0 first round win over Toronto, the Eagles’ defense has now posted 6 shutouts in 11 games played. The Red Knights were only able to finish with 70 total yards and enough first down yardage to move the sticks three times throughout the game.

JFK’s Evan Boyd gained over 120 yards rushing and two second half touchdowns (45, 1). Jacob Coates scored the game’s first touchdown (39 yard run) but also compiled 101 total yards from scrimmage.

Mogadore has reached the post-season in each of coach Adorni’s 13 years the helm. Last year’s State Runner-Up is back again looking to obtain their 18th regional title in school history.

In their first round matchup with Jackson-Milton, the Wildcats had little trouble as they accumulated 439 yards of total offense compared to just 142 for the Blue Jays. The Wildcats’ defense forced 3 turnovers (2 interceptions, 1 fumble) while holding their opponent to just 6 first downs. Mogadore’s quarterback Kole Jaber completed 9 of 11 for 198 yards.
