Michael O’Brien re-elected as State Rep for 64th district

The 64th district serves Warren, most of northern Trumbull County and some of southern Ashtabula County

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Voters elected incumbent Michael O’Brien to serve as the Ohio state representative of the 64th district, the Associated Press reports.

The Democrat will serve a two-year term.

O’Brien was the mayor of Warren from 2004 to 2011 and has served the 64th district since 2014.

Before that, he served as a Warren City councilman and Trumbull County commissioner.

His top three priorities are to provide safe drinking water, restore some local government funding and develop equitable funding for the schools that doesn’t rely on property tax.

The 64th district serves Warren, most of northern Trumbull County and some of southern Ashtabula County.
