Woman pleads not guilty to killing Youngstown man

Felicia Ward is charged with murder, felonious assault and obstructing justice

Felicia Ward, 21, pleaded not guilty to murder charges in the stabbing death of 53-year-old Howard Ramey.


YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – One of the people charged in the murder of a Youngstown man was in court Tuesday morning.

Felicia Ward, 21, pleaded not guilty to murder charges in the stabbing death of 53-year-old Howard Ramey.

Police found Ramey dead in August in the fruit cellar of his home on Palmer Avenue. Police were alerted after Ramey’s daughter told them she hadn’t heard from him in several days.

Ward is also charged with felonious assault and obstructing justice.

Wallace Lewis and Calvin Shelton are also charged in the case.

Ward is currently serving a two-year sentence on a robbery charge.
