2016 District 10 High School Football Playoff Schedule

District 10 Class A Championship
Thursday, November 10 at 7 pm at Hickory High School
West Middlesex (7-3) vs. Farrell (7-3)
…Farrell defeated Sharpsville in last year’s Class A title matchup, 26-20, in overtime. The Steelers have won 4 District crowns in the last 8 years. West Middlesex has been the runner-up to the Class A title in 3 of the last 5 years. The Big Reds last won the championship in 2006.

Sept. 16, 2016 – West Middlesex, 21-14

District 10 Class AA Semifinal
Friday, November 11 at 7 pm at Hickory High School
Wilmington (9-1) vs. Greenville (6-4)
…The last time Wilmington won a District crown was in 2009. Greenville, on the other hand, has not won since 1999.

Last Meeting
Oct. 7, 2016 – Wilmington, 35-0

Friday, November 11 at 7 pm at Meadville High School
Sharpsville (7-3) vs. Iroquois (10-0)
…Sharpsville has played in the District championship game in each of the past five years (3-2). Iroquois is seeking their first trip since 2001 (and 1st title since 1995).

Nov. 7, 2014 – Sharpsville, 62-35

District 10 Class AAA Championship
Saturday, November 12 at 1 pm at Wilmington High School
Sharon (8-3) vs. Hickory (10-0)
…The Hornets have won 5 District titles in a row including last year’s 32-19 victory over Sharon in the Class AA title matchup. Hickory has won 8 District 10 championships while Sharon has claimed 10 (last one came in 2010).

Last Meeting
Sept. 16, 2016 – Hickory, 42-14

District 10 Class AAAAA Championship
Saturday, November 12 at 7 pm at Greenville High School
Meadville (9-2) vs. Grove City (10-1)
…Grove City last won a District title in 2011 (33-0 over Cathedral Prep in the Class AAA tilt). Meadville is making their first trip to the championship game since 1986.

Last Meeting
Oct. 21, 2016 – Meadville, 48-14
