Jackson-Milton’s Pierce signs with UMBC

Pierce holds the Ohio state record for the most consecutive games with a home run which is now seven straight games.

Jacskon-Milton softball standout officially signed a National Letter of Intent with Division I University of Maryland, Baltimore County. (UMBC).

NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (WKBN) – Jackson Milton softball standout Sierra Pierce has made her college choice.  Today, she officially signed a National Letter of Intent  with Division I University of Maryland, Baltimore County. (UMBC).

Pierce has made her mark statewide, sitting atop the Ohio record book in one significant offensive category.  She holds the Ohio state record for the most consecutive games with a home run which is now seven straight games.

She hit .567 with 8 home runs in 12 games last season.  On the mound 98 strike outs in 80.1 innings of work.
