Rosemarie D. Diurba, Boardman, Ohio - obit

BOARDMAN, Ohio – Private family graveside services will be held for Rosemarie D. Diurba, 86, who passed away Wednesday, November 9 at Greenbriar Healthcare Center in Boardman.

Rosemarie was born December 25, 1929, in Sharpsville, the daughter of S. John and Rose Klimp Drobney.

She was a 1947 graduate of Sharpsville High School and spent most of her life as a resident in that community.

She retired from Westinghouse in Sharon and also worked at Jeriel Fashions.

Rosemarie was a parishioner of St. Bartholomew’s Church in Sharpsville.

She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, traveling and going to Deer Lane Cabin in Marionville with Mike.

Above all, Rosemarie loved spending time with her family during holiday celebrations, especially Christmas.

Her husband, Michael J. Diurba, whom she married April 8, 1983, passed away January 16, 1998.

Rosemarie leaves to cherish her memories her children, Carolyn (Ron) Beguin of Glendale, Arizona and Janet (Bob) Metz of Campbell; her stepchildren, Paula Diurba of Poland and Michael (Beverly) Diurba II of Hermitage; her very special friend Melinda Barker and A.J. Wilson, who was like a grandson to her; grandchildren, Garth (Juliet) Beguin of Surprise, Arizona, Benjamin (Erin) Beguin of Chandler, Arizona, Joanna (Josh) Snyder, Courtney (Eric) Copp and Tom Beguin all of Glendale, Arizona, Lisa (Joe) Cione of Hermitage, Pennsylvania and Michael Diurba III of West Middlesex; her great-grandchildren, Daulton, Cat, Wyatt, Henry, Caleb, Tessa, Quinn, Hadley, Eden, Joshua and Logan; her sister, Stel Smith of Sacremento, California; her nieces, Chris (Bill) Huntt of Culpepper, Virginia, Bern Anderson of Sacramento, California and several other nieces.

Besides her parents and her husband, Michael, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Robbie Metz; her brother, Bob Drobney and sister-in-law, Rose Drobney.

The family would like to especially thank Harbor Light Hospice.
