NILES, Ohio – William “Bill” K. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at his residence in Niles. He was 92.
Bill was born October 27, 1924 in Girard a son of the late William I and Jeanie Mackey Justis.
Bill retired from the Ohio Leather Works in Girard and had also worked at Niles High School as a custodian.
He was an active member of the Niles First Church of the Nazarene.
In his spare time, Bill enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.
On June 27, 1953 Bill was united into marriage with the former Betty Manners and together they shared nearly 63 loving years, until her passing on March 28 of this year.
His memories will be remembered and cherished by those he dearly leaves behind a son, Kenneth Paul (Kim) Justis of Kansas City, Missouri; four daughters, Deborah Lee Goddard of Niles, Ohio, Cynthia Ann (Mark) Seifert of Bushnell, Florida, Dawn Marie (Dean) Seifert of Champion, Ohio and Faith Ann (Gary) Booth of Champion, Ohio; brothers, Richard (Mary Ann) Justis of Mineral Ridge and Thomas (Sue) Justis of Bedford; a sister-in-law, Ruby Justis of Niles; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Emily Justis; his wife; one brother, John Michael Justis; two grandsons, Joseph Wayne Seifert and Matthew Taylor Seifert and one great-grandson, Bentley Craig Seifert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Niles First Church of the Nazarene, 1822 Vienna Rd., Niles, Ohio or Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St. Boardman, Ohio 44512 in Bill’s memory.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Monday, November 14, at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, Ohio, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Gary Morgan officiating.
Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Park Cemetery in Champion.
