Farrell outlasts West Middlesex for 2nd straight D-10 Title

HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) -The Farrell football team defeated West Middlesex, 22-12 Thursday in a Class A District 10 Title game at Hickory High School.

The Steelers jumped out to an early lead on a QB keeper from Kyi Wright in the 2nd quarter. Wright pounded in the 2-point conversion to make it 8-0 at halftime.

West Middlesex rallied in the 2nd half, as Clayton Parrish ran in a 2 yard touchdown, making it an 8-6 game. But Farrell took advantage of great field position courtesy of special teams. Braxton Chapman ran in another touchdown as the Steelers iced things away late for their 2nd straight District 10 Title.

Farrell moves on to face Conemaugh Township next Friday. Kickoff set for 7 PM at Somerset High School.
