Wilmington moves onto play Sharpsville in the District 10 Final

Spencer DeMedal scored three touchdowns as Wilmington cruised to a 35-8 win over Greenville. DeMedal rushed for 53 yards on 13 carries (TD), caught a pass for 51 yards (TD), completed a toss for six stripes and intercepted a Nate Bell pass and returned it for six-points.

HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – Spencer DeMedal scored three touchdowns as Wilmington cruised to a 35-8 win over Greenville. DeMedal rushed for 53 yards on 13 carries (TD), caught a pass for 51 yards (TD), completed a toss for six stripes and intercepted a Nate Bell pass and returned it for six-points.

Wilmington’s Cameron Marett led the ‘Hounds in rushing with 88 yards on five carries. Reese Bender completed 4 of 8 passes for 96 yards (TD). His favorite target was Bryson Verrelli, who caught three balls for 45 yards.

The Greyhound forced four turnovers and held the Trojans to just 171 yards of total offense.

Greenville was led by the rushing of Brady Genntile (64 yards) and the passing of Nate Bell, who connected on 10 tosses for 101 yards. Ethan Reiser caught five passes.

The ‘Hounds handed Greenville a 35-0 setback five weeks ago (Oct. 7).
