Detroit men arrested in New Castle after police find drugs, guns

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – Two men from Detroit were arrested this week following house raids in New Castle that turned up drugs and several guns, according to police.

On Wednesday, New Castle Police and the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Special Investigative Unit served a search warrant at 1311 Croton Ave.

They found 33 individually wrapped packages of heroin, digital weighing scales and cash, according to New Castle PD.

Darryl Jones is being charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The next day, officers searched 422 E. Reynolds St.

There, they found about 12 grams of crack cocaine, an assault rifle, two semi-automatic handguns, a revolver, cash and several digital weighing scales.

Officers arrested 31-year-old Tristan Morgan, who will be charged with possession with the intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Another woman inside was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
