Pa. joins website linking services for veterans

Pennsylvania has uploaded all their veterans services to the Network of Care website.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WKBN) – Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf and the Department of Human Services announced the state’s participation in a website for veterans.

Network of Care is a one-stop clearing house for state, federal and local social services.

The interactive site allows users to select their topic, state and county and then investigate services offered. Pennsylvania has loaded up all their veterans services to the site.

“Through this process, we are filling a gap that has lasted far too long. Information about services is often scattered around federal, state and local agencies. That’s a problem,” Wolf said.

Network of Care includes other topics and services not related solely to veterans, such as Developmental Disabilities, Domestic Violence, Prison/Reentry and Corrections, etc. Not all tabs have contributing information from Pennsylvania or Ohio.
