Key Returnees
Senior Sara Dalrymple and junior Menina Jackson lead the Tigers into the 2016-17 season. Dalrymple closed out her junior campaign with a 7.3 scoring average while grabbing 7.6 rebounds and dishing out 3.9 assists. Dalrymple connected on 62.7% of her free throws (32-51). Jackson is the leading returning scorer (8.3) and rebounder (8.2). Number 50 led the Lady Tigers in field goal percentage (48.8%) and free throw percentage (69.8%). Taylor Ingram (0.6 ppg, 0.9 rpg) and Aubrianna Mellott return as well after appearing in 18 and 12 games respectively.

Outlook
Since the Lady Tigers recorded a 14-9 record in 2013-14, they’ve totaled a two-year mark of 21-26. Coach Swogger will have to find a way to replace his top two scorers from a year ago – Ashley Bennett (15.3 ppg, 8.0 rpg) and Destiny Crow (11.4 ppg, 8.7 rpg). With Sara Dalrymple and Menina Jackson back in the fold, the expectation should be high again on Bengal Boulevard.
