WARREN, Ohio – Juanita Lilley Hatcher, 71, of 1630 Keri Drive, N.W., Warren, Ohio, departed this life Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:38 p.m. at St. Joseph Hospital, following an extended illness.
She was born April 10, 1945 in Adel, Georgia, the daughter of Charlie and Alberta Perkins Lilley, Sr., residing in the area since 2007, coming from Hartford, Connecticut.
Ms. Hatcher was a self-employed Home Health Aide for 15 years as a STNA, before retiring August 2007.
She was a member of Lighthouse Church of God in Christ until it relocated to Georgia, then she joined Genesis Christian Community Center, where she was the Church Mother, Prayer Warrior and enjoyed reading, Bingo, Wheel of Fortune and traveling. She was a 1987 graduate of Hartford Public High School.
She leaves to mourn one son, Anthony B. (Valerie) Lilley of Windsor, Connecticut; two daughters, Ms. Averia “Ava” Lilley of Warren and Ms. Donna Hatcher of Charlotte, North Carolina; adopted daughter, Ms. Jaynelle Landy of Waltham, Massachusetts; two brothers, Pastor AW Lilley, Sr. of Sparks, Georgia and James Tony Lilley of Sycamore, Georgia; four sisters, Ms. Odessa Pearson of Stanley, North Carolina, Ms. Bernice Williams of Tampa, Florida, Ms. Thelma Hunt of St. Petersburg, Florida and Ms. Judy Lilley of Tampa, Florida; three grandchildren, Michael A. Thomas of Berea, Kentucky, Miss Alana J. Lilley of Windsor, Connecticut and Miss Angel K. Hatcher of Charlotte, North Carolina and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Creation Bible Fellowship.
Calling hours will be held one hour prior to service (10:00-11:00 a.m.).
Family will receive friends at 329 Second Street, S.W., the home of her daughter, Averia Lilley.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
