Key Returnees
The Lady Tigers return four starters including Ball State recruit Sara Price as they seek to defend their All-American Conference crown. Price averaged a double-double last season (21.7 ppg, 9.8 rpg) while finishing second on the team in three-point percentage with 36.9% (45-122). Sara will be joined by her senior classmates Amber Rodriguez (3.3 ppg, 3.2 rpg), Izzy Albrecht (2.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.8 apg) and Samara Caffey (3.1 ppg, 3.3 rpg) who all contributed to last season’s successful year. Junior Mackenzie Maze led the team with 3.9 assists per game as she scored 5.5 points and grabbed 3.6 rebounds per game.

Outlook
The loss of sharpshooting Tori Rappach – who graduated last Spring – will be a void that will not be easily replaced. Rappach averaged 17.8 points while shooting 46.8% from long distance (102-218) and 79.1% from the foul line (68-86). More often than not, coach Diehl has made the proper adjustments over the years to put together a successful Howland team. This year should be no different as his team will feature one of the most dynamic players in the area (Sara Price) and a solid supporting cast.
