YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man from Youngstown is facing felonious assault charges after police say he stabbed his brother multiple times.

According to a police report, Caleb West, 34, was arrested in connected to the incident. He is charged with felonious assault.

Police said West’s brother, Joshua West, 36, was stabbed multiple times inside the residence the two brothers share on Southern Boulevard.

The incident happened about 4 a.m. Sunday.

Caleb West told police he thought he was stabbing an intruder but later discovered it was his brother.

West is expected to be arraigned Monday.

Police have not released Joshua Caleb’s condition.
