Key Returnees
With very little varsity experience returning, the Falcons will lean on juniors Randy Smith and Jakari Lumsden to give the program a foundation to build off of. Smith (2.3 ppg) played in 23 varsity games a year ago while Lumsden (1.1 ppg, 1.8 rpg) appeared in 21. Seniors Brandon Jackson, Zac Bruff and Ryan Sheffield (0.9 ppg) will be counted on to log significant minutes while juniors Dylan Beany, Emanuel Dawkins and Cole Constance will also be asked to see a larger role on the team this season.

Outlook
For Fitch, experience will be a concern after losing 8 seniors from last season’s roster to graduation. However, coach Brian Beany views this group as a solid team to work with. “Getting the continuity and experience will take a few games for that happen to happen. They’re very athletic and very deep. We have the potential to play as many as 13 kids. Our style will change from a half court team to more of a full court team.” The Falcons participated in a summer league and were able to attend team camp which helped with gaining experience and familiarity with one another.
