A new bourbon that pays tribute to boxing legend Boom Boom Mancini will be bottled in Boardman.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A new bourbon bottled in Mahoning County will pay tribute to boxing legend Boom Boom Mancini.

The bourbon is made in Kentucky, but blended and bottled by Candella Micro-Distillery on Market Street in Boardman.

It will cost about $46 a bottle. Mancini says the bourbon is smooth and easy to appreciate.

“I didn’t want anything that’s harsh, that hits you up front and kind of dies out or catches up on you. This is smooth all the way through. That’s me, just easy.”

The first run of the bourbon is limited to 1,200 bottles and will be available at the Market Street storefront and at select liquor stores.
